Damian Lane will consider appealing a suspension that will force him to miss the Group One Memsie Stakes meeting at Caulfield.
Lane was suspended for 10 meetings on Saturday after stewards found him guilty of careless riding on At First Sight in the Adapt Australia Handicap.
Stewards ruled Lane shifted in and dictated the line of John Allen’s mount Crafty Cruiser which caused Craig Williams’s mount Hula Lua to be checked.
Lane acknowledged he had shifted in but claimed he had corrected his running before the trouble.
