Racing fans country wide have gone into meltdown after the sacking of media personality of Samuel Hyland from racing.com’s coverage.
Hyland took to twitter last night to thank his fans and announce that he would not be required on Racing.com’s media coverage anymore.
Disappointing to get a call today saying I am no longer required @Racing Thanks to all jockeys for being so accomodating #ithasbeengreatfun

The response from Australian racing fans was massive with some of the biggest media personalities, jockeys and trainers expressing their disappointment.
Slowly destroying our premium product.. Very disappointing to see.. Your interviews always lightened things up.. Will certainly be missed.

What a farce. Basically the only person @Racing who can relate to & has a relationship with the winning jockeys gets the arse. #AmateurHour

Hyland’s input was focused on post race interviews and comments from jockeys which by the response were much liked and wanted by viewers.
Our response to the news:
We hope to see Sam on our screens soon.
