Caulfield Guineas winner Mighty Boss has sadly died from colic.
The former Mick Price trained galloper took out the Group One Caulfield Guineas as a three year old at big odds but was unable to win another race with his last being in the CS Hayes Stakes at Morphettville in May.
Mighty Boss was reported as deceased on Racing Australia’s website as well as on the Australian Studbook before Mick Price Racing confirmed the reports sighting colic as the reason for the death.
Mighty Boss raced seventeen times for two wins and amassed over $1.2million in earnings.
