Punters quick to back Albury Cup favourite

Mankayan has opened favourite in Friday's Albury Cup

Mankayan heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the feature race at Albury on Friday, the Albury Cup (2000m).

This race is a Big Dance Qualifier so with that, the depth is strong, headlined by Mankayan, who was a strong third last time in the Wangaratta Cup. Hard fit now, he appeals and the market agrees, having him as favourite, sitting at $3.40 after he opened at $3.70 and qas quickly supported.

Beltoro is flying for Rob Hickmott and is on the second line of betting at $4.60, clear of Riverina Cyclone at $7. Half point further back is Summerbeel for GaiBott.
