It was a dream start in the riding career of Sarah Field, with her first ride resulting in a winner.
The win came at Donald over 1002m on Friday, leading throughout on the Ciaron Maher/David Eustace trained Field Of Flutes, with the gelding living up to his name, running the trip quickly and despite getting the staggers late, he was able to cling on and provided Field with a magic moment.
“I just can’t believe it, honestly,” Field told Racing.com.
“He did it all, I’ve got a lot to improve on! That’s his best asset, he has a real high cruising speed and he can find off it.”
