Star Sydney mare heads odds in the Empire Rose Stakes

Star mare Atishu is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Empire Rose (1600m) this afternoon at Flemington.

The Chris Waller trained mare hasn’t quite set the world on fire this time in but back to Mares grade, she looks hard to beat and the market agrees, having her as the $3.90 favourite.

Amelia’s Jewel sits on the second line of betting at $5.50, clear of Plenty Of Ammo at $7, with Alsephina a point further back with betting companies.
