Neasham stayer heads odds in wide open field for The Beauford

Naval College is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for The Beauford (2300m) this Saturday at Newcastle.

The Neasham/Archibald trained gelding was far from disgraced fresh in the Craven Plate and fitter, up in trip, with class, he’s hard to beat and the market agrees. He’s at $4.40.

He sits alongside Wyclif, who was game in defeat in the Rosehill Gold Cup. Spirit Ridge is at $5.50 with online wagering sites.
