The Group 1 Lightning Stakes has received 16 nominations including unbeaten mare Black Caviar, and will be race at Flemington racecourse on Saturday 18th February, 2012. Trainer Peter Moody has yet to decide if Black Caviar will take part in the race after winning the C.F. Orr Stakes on the weekend but the decision will likely determine who will take part in the field.
