Flemington will take centre stage this Saturday with several exciting races, including the CS Hayes Stakes.
This race serves as an important lead-up to the Australian Guineas and is named in honour of Colin Hayes, the racing legend who founded the Lindsay Park dynasty.
Goldrush Guru, the VRC Derby winner, will return to Flemington in the CS Hayes Stakes, with Jamie Melham riding the son of American Pharaoh.
Mark Zahra will continue his partnership with Group 1 placegetter Henlein in the race.
Manfred Stakes winner Royal Insignia, along with runner-up Tropicus, are expected to compete. Grahame Begg’s colt, by Written Tycoon, will have a new rider in Craig Williams following Jamie Mott’s suspension.
Other possible runners include top gallopers from the Spring such as Feroce, Opening Address, Wonder Boy, Scary, and Saint Emillion.
