Chris Waller had three chances heading into yesterdays Emirates Doncaster Mile and he didnt dissapoint with his most supported runner Rangirangdoo taking out the $1.5 million dollar race. With most of the hype surrounding Typhoon Tracy leading into the race the very talented 5YO gelding Rangirangdoo was overlooked by most punters due his recent inability to win a race but Rangi ended his run of seconds in the race that counted the Emirates Doncaster Mile.
Jumping from barrier 10 Rangirangdoo settled mid field and was able to be settled well during the run, Nash Rawiller pulled him out at the 200m mark and was able to grind down Road To Rock on his inside to win by .2 of a length.
Finishing Positions:
First: Rangirangdoo
Second: Road To Rock
Third: Brilliant Light
Fourth: Drumbeats
