Trainer Lloyd Kennewel has decided to throw his young horse Jedastar into the deep end to try and capitalise on a massive weight allowance on the older horses with the daughter of boom sire I Am Invincible to carry a mere 44kg in the race.
Jedastar was an impressive winner in her debut at Flemington before finishing second to Catch Me in the Blue Diamond Preview and punters think she can cause a bit of an upset against the seasoned sprinters backing her from $13’s into $11 in all-in markets.
