Bare Naked Lady has been smashed in early betting at Doomben
Punters are keen to get some money early on Saturday at Doomben and have had a crack at one in the opener, the Crystal Slipper (1200m).
Bare Naked Lady is a Tracey Bartley trained filly who hasn’t raced since spanking her rivals in an Inglis 2YO race during the Scone Carnival. Been kept on ice but has been tuned up with a lovely trial win. Draws well and gets Corey Brown steering. Ticks boxes and punters agree, backing her into as short as $3.60 from $4.80.
She has clearly taken over now as the new favourite, taking that spot over Spirit’s Choice, who opened at $4.40, but with the support for Bare Naked Lady, she’s out to $4.80.
The other one met with good support is the Michael Costa trained Malahide, who is into $5 after opening $9.
