Broome Cup contenders take aim at the Kimberley Cup

Sheikh It is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Broome on Saturday, the Kimberley Cup (2020m).

The four year old gelding has seemingly thrived since heading to Broome and will use this race as a springboard towards the Broome Cup. In an open race, he heads the market at $3.60.

Blackwater Bay is now with Rob Gulberti and has been the early firmer, into $3.70 from $4.20 and likely starts favourite if the trend continues.

Nevcarda ($18-$14-$15) has had specking at odds.
