Celestial Legend heads odds in wide open Shannon Stakes field

Multiple Group l winner Celestial Legend is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Shannon Stakes (1500m) this afternoon at Rosehill.

The Les Bridge trained four year old didn’t disgrace himself fresh in the Theo Marks and fitter, up in trip, he looks hard to beat and the market agrees, having him at $4.20.

He sits alongside Bases Loaded, who was game in defeat in the Theo Marks. New Energy is at $6.50 and relatively solid with betting sites.
