Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley a lottery for punters

The Crystal Mile (1600m) this afternoon at Moonee Valley looks an absolute lottery and that is reflected in the Ladbrokes.com.au market.

It is $4.50 the field, headed by Royal Champion, who did more than enough at his Australian debut at Flemington and lookss suited up in trip on firmer footing.

Nugget, who drops big time in grade/depth and gets J Mac to steer, is at $4.60. He opened $4.40 but has been relatively solid since Wednesday with wagering companies.

He is narrowly ahead of Plenty Of Ammo, who is at $4.80. She was scratched from an easier race at Caulfield last Saturday for this.
