Debut winner heads odds in the VRC Sires Produce Stakes

Debut winner Veight is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the VRC Sires Produce (1400m) this Saturday at Flemington in what looks an even contest.

The Team McEvoy trained juvenile made a mess of them on debut over 1200m at Pakenham and looks primed for the 1400m on the big track. Was as short as $2.20 all in but final field is favourite, clearly, at $3.30.

Dubenenko, unlucky in the Blue Diamond, is on the second line of betting at $4.20, and that pair have a good hold on betting, with next best being Ganbare at $7.50, who is in a half point.
