Sayl is favourite to take out the Townsville Cup

Mackay Cup winner Sayl is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au to take out the Townsville Cup (2000m) this Saturday.

The Lindsay Hatch trained gelding was a sharp winner last start in the Mackay Cup and despite drawing gate 20, he heads the market and has been the early firmer, into $4.00 from $4.50.

Maquereau is on the second line of betting at $5.50, a point clear of Planet Warrior. Rather Sulubrious has had early specking, touching $10 from $11 but is back to $11.
