Exciting Team Hawkes galloper curnched to win The Hunter at Newcastle

Progressive galloper Briasa is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for The Hunter (1300m) this Saturday at Newcastle.

The Team Hawkes trained four year old was an arrogant winner on the Kenso last time out and looks primed to go albeit the steep rise in grade/depth. $3.70 was the opening price and has been crunched, now into $2.90 with online wagering sites.

Far Too Easy is on the second line of betting at $3.70, with Private Eye at $8 and easy, out from $6.50.
