The low flying First Affair has been the key early firmer in betting to take out the La Trice Classic (1800m) this Monday at Ascot.
The Adam Durrant trained mare is in career best form this campaign and comes to this event off the back of a closing third in the Starstruck behind Celebrity Dream. Up to 1800m looks ideal and she maps super. No surprise she has firmed to $3.60 from $3.80.
The classy mare Silverstream is at $1.90 and is the clear fav, but is easy after opening $1.75, with punters shying away given she has to carry 59.5kg. Fontainebleu is very solid at $4.20.
I’m Feeling Lucky has had a sprinkle of money, into $9.50 from $10.
