Former French galloper heads odds in wide open Epsom Handicap field

Former French galloper Royal Patronage is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the feature race at Randwick this Saturday, the Epsom Handicap (1600m).

The GaiBott trained five year old has been strong in two runs back and looks primed for the mile at Group l level. He is favourite at $6.

Kovalica is on the second line of betting at $7, alongside Ceowulf. Tom Kitten and Major Beel are each at $12 and have admirers with betting companies in Australia.
