Former star NZ mare heads odds in wide open Let’s Elope Stakes field

Group l winning mare Quintessa is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Flemington.

The Mark Walker trained mare resumed with a strong win two weeks ago in the Cockram and looks suited up to 1400m. She is favourite at $4.80.

See You In Heaven sits on the second line of betting at $5.50, but the mover has clearly been WA mare Alsephina, who was as much as $51 all in but final field is $7.50 to $7 and has been best backed.
