Garibaldi heads the market for the feature race at the Gold Coast

He’s an enigma, but Garibaldi heads the Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at the Gold Coast this afternoon, the Goldmarket (1200m).

The Tony Gollan trained gelding has been a frustrating horse for punters given he has shown Stakes class ability but it hasn’t translated to wins. But, he is being given another chance this afternoon, installed as a $4.20 favourite.

Fender has been the one best backed to beat him. The NSW raider opened $6.00 and is into $4.60 with Sydney rider Jason Collett making the trip. Ef Troop is next best at $5.50.
