Jimmy The Bear heads the wide open market in the Heatherlie Stakes
Last start winner Jimmy The Bear is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Heatherlie (1700m) this afternoon at Caulfield.
The Patrick Payne trained gelding was knocking on the door to win and it came two weeks ago at the mile here. Extra 100m should be fine and the market says he is the one to beat, sitting at $4.
The Summit is on the second line of betting at $6, a half punt clear of the resuming Sir Lucan.
