The Sharlee Hoffman trained gelding is 2/2 at 2000m and gets to that trip for the first time this prep with eyes towards the Townsville Cup and Cairns Cup. In what looks an open race, he holds the call at $4.40.
Sayl, backing up from the Mackay Cup, is on the second line of betting at $4.80, narrowly ahead of Don Arcangelo at $5.00.
