The son of More Than Ready was $4.60-$5.50 on the day, however, attracted good support and was the second best supported runner outside the favourite Beyliks.
Bursting through a gap midway down the straight after James McDonald found clear running, the Chris Waller runner raced away to beat Postcode ($5.50-$7) and Beyliks ($3.50).
Godolphin runner Beyliks started as favourite and held a tick over half the total investment. Of the rest, Belieber ($4.40-$5.50) had admirers too.

Jumping a very popular $3.50 favourite, Dealmaker held 2.5 times the amount of money than the next best supported runner which was Shock Alert ($5).
Got Unders ($34-$19) and Penske ($7) filled second and third. Greysful Glamour ($4.40-$6) was a drifter and led before fading out of it while Shock Alert raced on speed and ended up near the tail.

Second pick Probabeel ($2.20-$2.40) did all the work outside the winner and battled on to finish second with Foxborough ($31) filling the minor end of the prize.

Life Less Ordinary firmed up throughout the day from $11-$9-$7.50 and wasn’t beaten far in third.
