RACE ONE
Golden Point had been tried all week leading up to the TAB Highway Handicap (1400 metres).
The Stirling Osland-trained galloper went up $11 on Wednesday when markets first opened and today, hovered around the $6-$6.50 for most of it.
Shelby Sixtysix ($17-$12-$13) was tried at a price and nearly pulled off a nice move. Markievicz ($9.50-$6.50-$8.50) was backed in the morning but did get out late.

RACE TWO
Favourite backers were pleased with themselves as Rule Of Law dominated the Schweppes Handicap (1100 metres).
The in-form Bjorn Baker galloper jumped at $2.25 after opening the day at even money. Attracting big bets throughout the day, Rule Of Law was nearly three times as popular as the second pick in the market, Mr Mosaic ($3.70-$4).

RACE THREE
Military Expert defied the drift to take out the Midway Handicap (1500 metres) in fine style.
Although easily the most popular runner in terms of money held (30 percent), Military Expert ($2.60-$3.60) got out late in betting as support came for a number of horses to beat it.
French Emperor ($5.50), McCormack ($9.50-48-$9) and Sally Pops ($23-$12) were the runners of note with the latter running right up to expectations by winding up third.

RACE FOUR
Big bets were landed when Expat led throughout to win the Rosehill Bowling Club Millie Fox Stakes (1300 metres).
Twice as popular as anything else in the race, Expat ($2.80-$2.40-$2.50) was taken straight to the front by Tom Sherry and the pair were never headed.
Belluci Babe ($4.40) and Le Lude ($21) filled the minors.
Of the rest, Krone ($5) was best backed outside the favourite and carried some decent investments.

RACE FIVE
Mazu was too strong for his rivals in the Ned Whisky Handicap (1100 metres).
The Peter & Paul Snowden galloper opened $8 on Wednesday and was one of the first horses backed in the race. Today, Mazu ($4.80-$4.20-$4.60) again attracted good money but he was overshadowed in that regard by Able Willie.
Going around as $2.80 favourite, Able Willie was $3.20 in the morning and was the subject of strong support in the final 30 minutes of betting.

RACE SIX
Best Of Bordeaux defied a drift to get the job done in the Fujitsu General Silver Slipper Stakes (1100 metres).
While attracting some decent money, Best Of Bordeaux ($7-$11) was a drifter as the big money came for the favourite.
Queen Of The Ball ($2.50-$2.25) was heavily tried and went around with nearly half the total investment. Such was her popularity that she commanded more than four times the money of the next best supported galloper which was Ojai ($8-$6.50-$7).
Magic ($34-$17-$18) ran right up to the solid support for it at a price by flashing home to wind up second.

Mightybeel was simply too strong for his rivals and landed plenty of big bets in taking out the Parramatta Cup (1900 metres).
Chris Waller’s young stayer was $3.70-$3.40 on the day and easily the best backed in the race, holding nearly twice as much as stablemate Toomuchtobear ($4.40).
The pair were the only two to hold six figures with TAB. Shoppers who got on Mightybeel early secured $9 on Wednesday.
Of the rest, First In Line ($34) was the subject of a long-priced move while Nickajack Cave ($11), a $21 chance on Wednesday, was also specked.

RACE EIGHT
Punters rallied strongly for Anamoe in the Petaluma Hobartville Stakes (1400 metres) and were rewarded.
The Godolphin galloper attracted that much money that he was the most popular horse all day – anywhere, across any track!
Anamoe ($1.65-$1.80-$1.75) held nine times more money than runner-up Hilal ($12-$9.50) and was responsible for 70 percent of the total investment.
Silent Impact ($6.50) was best tried of the others.

RACE NINE
In arguably the most open betting race of the day, Sky Lab swept over the top of his rivals to win the Chandon Handicap (1400 metres).
Paul Perry’s stable rep was a drifter on the day but he still attracted some decent investments at the price.
Sky Lab ($7-$13) flew home to beat Dream Circle ($5.50) with Morrissy ($21) winding up third.
New Arrangement ($7) was the most popular horse in terms of money held while Giannis ($8-$5.50) was a late firmer while Zeyrek had some good bets riding on it.

RACE TEN
War Eternal upset the hot pot in the final event on the program – the XXXX Handicap (1400 metres).
The Bjorn Baker runner was $9 in the morning but was backed $7-$5 late. He held around a tenth of the money that the favourite did.
Dajraan ($2.30-$2.10) was one of the best backed horses on the card at Rosehill and was very popular with punters big and small, while he was also a regular feature in countless multis throughout the afternoon.
Overall, Dajraan was responsible for over three-quarters of the total investment after the withdrawal of the second pick, Sindacato.

FLEMINGTON
RACE ONE
Crystal Pegasus got favourite backers off to the right start in The Stud & Stable Staff Awards Handicap (2000 metres).
One of the best tried runners heading into the raceday, Crystal Pegasus ($3.30-$2.15-$2.20) was sensationally backed and held more than three times the amount of money than any other runner.
Chris Waller’s rep was one of the first horses backed on Wednesday when xxx was available.

RACE TWO
Gentleman Roy defied a slight drift to lead throughout and take out the Buybetter At Inglis Yearling Sales (1600 metres) impressively.
Although going around as the second pick in the market, Gentleman Roy ($3.60-$4.80-$4.40) only held a fraction of what the heavily backed favourite did.
Most punters were banking on Tuvalu ($1.80-$1.65) in this one. The son of Kermadec attracted plenty of big bets and was an anchor for plenty of multis. Overall, money on Tuvalu accounted for 65 percent of the total investment.

RACE THREE
Yonce got punters back on the right foot with victory in the Vale Jack Styring Trophy (1600 metres).
The Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace rep went around as a popular favourite
Yonce ($2.70-$2.40-$2.50) proved too good for Groovy Kinda Love ($7-$6) which attracted good eachway support, while Americain Angel ($5.50) was the only horse outside the winner to hold six figures.

RACE FOUR
The two most popular horses with TAB customers fought out the running of the Talindert Stakes (1100 metres).
While Waltz On By ($5) was the only horse to hold six figures with TAB Fixed Odds, I’mlovinya ($6-$7-$6.50) was best of the rest in terms of money held.
The pair were responsible for 41 percent of the total investment.
Of the others, Latvian ($18-$9.50) pretty much halved its quote from the morning.

RACE FIVE
Barb Raider was one of the best movers of the day to land the money anywhere across the country.
Heading into The TAB Vanity as second pick in the market, Barb Raider ($4.20-$2.90) attracted big money in the final hour of betting.
Such was the weight of support for the daughter of Rebel Raider that she overtook Socialist ($4-$4.20-$3.30) for favouritism.
The pair completely dominated the hold with 71 percent of the money riding on them.

RACE SIX
Pinstriped went around as the most popular runner in the CS Hayes Stakes (1400 metres).
The Enver Jusofovic-trained galloper did get out in the market ($3.40-$5) but landed some nice bets. Pinstriped held more money than anything else after Lightsaber was scratched at the barriers.
Forgot You ($8.50) had plenty of admirers as did Captivant ($5.50) while Lina’s Legend ($13-$8) was a late firmer.

Home Affairs scored the upset over Nature Strip in a thrilling edition of the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1000 metres).
The son of I Am Invincible was the second most popular runner in the race behind Nature Strip ($2.40-$2.15), however, he held three-and-a-half times less than his stablemate.
Home Affairs ($6.50-$5.50-$7.50) led for most of the straight and held on to beat Nature Strip, with Eduardo ($4) close up in third.

Corner Pocket defied a decent drift in The Elms Handicap (1400 metres).
Opening the day at $4 equal favourite with Mr Brightside ($4-$4.40), Corner Pocket blew out to $7.50 at the jump. When comparing the holds on the two runners, Mr Brightside was nearly four times as popular as the Lindsey Smith representative.
Elephant ($6.50-$5-$6.50) went around with the most money and accounted for 30 percent of the total investment.
Grandslam ($12-$6.50) was tried at the eachway odds as was Cherry Tortoni ($7.50-$6).
