A punter has placed a massive bet of $40,000 on a $13 shot in today’s Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.
The punter with online betting site Pointsbet place a wager of $40,000 on International galloper Victoria Road to win the Cox Plate at odds of $13 to collect $520,000 if the Aidan O’Briend trained three-year-old can win.
Victoria Road is a quality International three-year-old out of the dominant Aidan O’Brien stable with in-form Melbourne jockey Black Shinn on board. The colt has had ten starts for four wins and three placings including a G1 win as a two-year-old.
