In form stayer heads odds in the Lord Mayors Cup at Rosehill

In form galloper Waterford is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Lord Mayors Cup (2000m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

The Chris Waller trained gelding comes through the Scone Cup when a narrow second to Sky Lab ($8) and looks as though he’ll appreciate a rise in trip. Despite a tricky gate, he is favourite at $3.50.

The enigma that is Williamsburg is at $6 on the second line of betting, a half point clear of Sir Lucan. Sibaaq is rock solid at $7.50 with betting sites.
