A capacity field has been assembled for the Inglis Millennium (1100m) this Saturday at Randwick, where the Team Freedman trained Price Tag is favourite.
Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for the 2025 Inglis Millennium.
2025 Inglis Millennium Runner Preview:
1. Cobra Club: Tried his guts out in the Nursery and found the line strongly but just lacked the finale to go with Within The Law. Tick over trial was good and despite the tricky gate, he appeals against these.
2. Rivellino: Freshened up since a sharp debit winner, but I will say, he beat nothing. He gets J Mac, he has upside/improvement…will need luck but has to be respected.
3. The Magic Man: The Magic Man is three weeks between runs since racing at Rosehill over this trip where he ran a well held second, but did run second to dominant Golden Slipper favourite Wodeton. That form is A1 for this so with that in mind, he commands respect.
4. Grafterburners: I reckon there is one here at a price to back and that is Grafterburners for Kelly Schweida. He has a big engine I think this guy but is wayward so I love that they are putting Blinkers on for the rich race. Wore down Blitzburg behind Space Rider last time and we saw what that horse did last week in the Canonbury. Likely gets back but will launch late and confident he is capable of finishing over the top.
5. Crown The King: Didn’t do a bad job on debut in October at Doomben in a 2YO race which has produced several winners, so the form reads well and his recent trial was encouraging. One for exotics.
6. Sanctified: I think he has talent but he looks a horse that is 6-12 months away. Pass.
7. Yolo: Didn’t do a bad job behind Open Secret two weeks ago but she just lacks a turn of foot and whacks for me. If she wins, I am losing on the race.
8. Prince Marionette: Didn’t think he did a bad job on debut in a solid maiden at Seymour and Pat Kearney had years of experience of travelling horses when working for Mick Price so that’s no issue…he could pinch a first four spot.
9. Within The Law: Unbeaten in two career outings but what has she beaten and she has been blessed in the run each time. No place to hide here from the awful draw…keen to oppose.
10. Kujenga: Showed good ticker to win on debut at Wyong. There to be run down but found under pressure to fend them off and win. Good racing style, maps ideally and should be strong late.
11. Open Secret: Thought she had the pattern in her corner when a debut winner. Drawn terrible, will have to do work to get across…can’t entertain her.
12. Price Tag: Price Tag commands respect for Team Freedman. She resumed in the Blue Diamond Preview when off speed and loomed large to win but just couldn’t quite get there. That said, she may have bumped into a rocket, My Gladiola. Fitter, better for the run and the stable loves to target these races.
13. Bubion: Down the track behind My Gladiola in the race mentioned above and can’t see her improving enough to threaten.
14. Artistic Venture: Caught the eye on debut in the Nursery behind Within The Law after getting a fair way back in the run. Tick over trial was a lovely piece of work and if she can settle closer, she’ll be effective.
15. Sheeza Diva: Sheeza Diva is one I can entertain for wider exotics. She ran behind Wodeton a few weeks back. She was run off her legs early but she kept chasing and was a definite pass mark behind the current Golden Slipper favourite. Not sure she wins, but she can run top four.
16. Deep Affection: Two career outings suggest she’ll struggle to win a Taree maiden. Pass.
17. Bellazaine (First Emergency): Bellazaine is a daughter of Zousain that resumes for GaiBott. She hasn’t raced since the Gimcrack when four/five wide throughout and just felt the pinch late in the piece. Been given a good break and the trial work to get ready for the return has been quite sharp so keen to see how she goes.
18. Make Mine Poet (Second Emergency): SCR
19. Autumn Blonde (Third Emergency): Didn’t do much on debut in the Gimcrack but has trialled well to get ready. Would be hard to beat in an easier race.
20. Michelangelo (Fourth Emergency): Nice horse but not up to these.
2025 Inglis Millennium $100 Betting Strategy:
I think Grafterburners will run really well. $20 Win/$80 Place.

2025 Inglis Millennium Speed Map
No shock but they are going to go quick here. Open Secret should hold a forward spot from the wide gate, potentially lead. Kujenga lands on speed from the inside draw. Bellazaine has secured a run and will settle forward as well, likewise Sanctified.
