Japanese star Ascoli Piceno is a dominant favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Rosehill this afternoon, the Golden Eagle (1500m).

The mare, regarded as the best miler in Japan, has been heavily supported despite drawing wide on Tuesday. She holds sway at $4.40.

Unbeaten French mare Lazzat is at $6 on the second line of betting, alongside Joliestar. Next best are Southport Tycoon and Tom Kitten at $10 with gambling companies.
