A near capacity field has been assembled for the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares (1300m) this Saturday at the Gold Coast.
Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for the 2025 Magic Millions Fillies & Mares.
2025 Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Runner Preview:
1. Revolutionary Miss: Thought she was quite plain in the Nudgee and yes, beaten under two lengths, but she had every chance on speed and didn’t fire late. I think she wants a longer spell and happy to oppose.
2. Hell Hath No Fury: Five weeks between runs and that last run was plain in a weak race. Tricky draw…her best is good enough but her best hasn’t been seen for some time.
3. Semana: SCR
4. Charm Stone: SCR
5. Bubba’s Bay: Bubba’s Bay is an absolute beauty for Kris Lees. She got the beaut run in transit in the Nudgee two weeks ago but still had to take advantage of it and that she did, knuckling down with purpose late to win and win well. Harder here but hard to knock how well she’s racing.
6. Miss Roumbini: Ripping mare for Price/Kent that has been kept on ice since a win on Ballarat Cup Day in the Stockade, finishing best from off the speed. She has been set for the race and stable are firing at present.
7. Countyourblessings: Only beaten 2.7L behind Bubba’s Bay, but I thought she had every chance and the way she trialled, she was there to rock and roll. Stable are hot and cold at present for mine, she goes through to the keeper.
8. Anahita: Anahita looks to be sneaky flying for Chris Waller and is a definite winning chance. She got back to near last in the run in the Nudgee last start and while she was never a winning threat, I loved the way she closed off in defeat behind impressive winner Bubba’s Bay. If she can settle closer, be within range, she has the finale to take this out.
9. Ningaloo Star: Her rating is too high to be a Midway horse but I do feel that is her level and I’d be stunned if she measured up here.
10. Burning Bell: Home track advantage but comes through the same race that Hell Hath No Fury contested and was a bit on the plain side. Not for me here.
11. Infatuation: Game effort last Saturday but was no match late. Class 4 to this grade is an ask, but she gets T Clark, she looks the leader and will take running down if she gets front end control.
12. Russian Alliance: Handy mare but I don’t think she’s up to these.
13. Left Field: Loved the way she let down to win at Randwick last time, giving them a start and a beating to win. Likely spots them a start once again but should be quite strong at the end.
14. Dirty Dancing: Handy mare with home track advantage but not up to these.
15. Until Valhalla: Ran well last week in the same race Infatuation contested but not up to this level.
16. Star Act: Flying for Liam Birchley and is the map horse, plus does get Craig Williams to steer. Bit in her corner to say she can run a race here at odds.
17. She Mine: Okay last week but not measuring up here.
18. Territory Ash: Making up the numbers against these.
2025 Magic Millions Fillies & Mares $100 Betting Strategy:
$20 Win/$80 Place on Anahita. I think she’ll run really well.

2025 Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Speed Map
A race void of a genuine leader IMO. Bubba’s Bay looks the likely leader here. Infatuation could press forward from a middle draw. Ningaloo Star can settle handy on her day while the map horse could well be Revolutionary Miss.
