Two massive bets totaling $90,000 have been taken on a maiden runner at today’s Coffs Harbour meeting.
The first of the two TAB wagers was taken on Thursday with a punter placing $10,000 at $2.25 on the Angela Davies-trained Rustic Pearl in the second race on the Coffs Harbour card.
Another whopping bet of $80,000 was placed on the same runner at $2.00 odds earlier today.
Rustic Pearl was previously trained by Peter Stanley and recorded two minor placings from 6 starts for the Bathurt trainer before moving to Angela Davies stables at Gosford.
Decent wagers for a Friday.
