Matron Stakes a wide open betting race

Eternal Flame is the favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the get out at Flemington this Saturday, the Matron Stakes (1600m).

The Mick Kent trained mare has been luckless her past two and looks well placed for a Stakes win this weekend. Market says she is the one to beat, sitting at $4.20.

Foxy Frida and Unusual Culture sit on the second line of betting at $4.50, with Running By at $5 and well tried, in from $7.
