Sportsbet.com.au punters believe that Nick Hall will return to the saddle as a winner straight away this Saturday at Caulfield when he steers Validate in the Schweppes Handicap (1400m).
The Tony McEvoy trained filly stuck on very gamely last start at Moonee Valley behind the above average Love Days, and with the step up to 1400m looking ideal, she has been supported early on, opening $3.90, easing to $4 but that was quickly taken and now sits at $3.60 and has taken the favourite tag off impressive debut winner Countessa, who has been $3.80 out from $3.30.
Jacqui’s Joy, an impressive first up winner at Kilmore, has been $8-$8.50-$8 while Single Note, another first up winner, has been $6.50 in from $7.
