Odds suggest a wide open Wagga Town Plate field

Country Championships winner Asgarda is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Wagga Town Plate (1200m) this afternoon.

The Doug Gorrel trained mare hasn’t raced since that big win at Randwick and has been kept on ice with this race in mind. Opened $5 and has been backed, now into $4.20.

Rocketing By is $8.00 to $5.00 and sits on the second line of betting, a half point clear of Gravina. The firmer has been Secret Plan, who is $51 into $9.00.
