Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue from last Saturday after finding State Of America at Randwick.
Rosehill Race Seven Number 10 Navajo Peak ($34):
Navajo Peak is worth a throw at the stumps at odds I say. He resumed three weeks ago in the 7 Stakes and while held by Fangirl, he didn’t disgrace himself at all in defeat. He has more upside than most, he’ll love the rise to 2000m and has home track advantage.
Rosehill Race Nine Number 1 Royal Merchant ($18):
Royal Merchant is an improver and has a clear class edge. Ciaron Maher trained Group l winning mare that comes through the Sheraco when first up. She was too bad to be true I thought, getting off the speed and failed to get involved when running last. Has won second up previously and her best is good enough to do a number on these.
Caulfield Race Six Number 7 Okita Soushi ($61):
Going to speck Okita Soushi to try and get his way into the Cup. It’s going to be a small early speck because I do think he’ll be better come jump time. But, I think you can forgive for the two runs. First up was a barrier trial and then last time, the track was shifty. He is a bone dry track horse, 2400m, hard fit, down in the weights…I think he can run a big race at a price.
Eagle Farm Race Seven Number 2 Emperor ($18):
Emperor is racing like a rise to 1200m suits. Matty Dunn trained gelding that ran over 1000m at the Gold Coast three weeks ago when off the speed and worked home with purpose off the good speed when third to the in form Ralphie. 1200m, I think, is okay, and he drops big time in depth I feel.
