Over The Odds 13/7/2024 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Murray Bridge Race Ten Number 16 Sabermetric ($20):

Sabermetric is several weeks between runs for Richards/Moyle since racing over 1100m at Morphettville when first up. He was wide no cover on a hot speed and just couldn’t sustain the run, feeling the pinch and finishing down the track behind Sportsbeat. Better ridden with more patience, his best is good enough to take this out.

Doomben Race Seven Number 3 Green Shadows ($26):

Green Shadows is dangerous with his best. Superb first up winner at Warwick Farm before a a few of runs where he has been solid each time with excuses, the latest on the Kenso when back and making up some ground without threatening behind Pure Alpha. Genuine tempo (hopefully), he can take this out despite the gate.

Caulfield Race Six Number 14 Frumos ($21):

Frumos is worth a throw at the stumps each way for me. Team Hayes trained mare that ran three weeks ago over 1400m at Flemington where she got back to last in the run, was forced widest on the turn and I thought the ride from Dee was quiet, only getting really warm late in the piece, and was good through the line. She has the talent and I think is just gradually getting towards peak fitness.

Caulfield Race Seven Number 10 Marble Nine ($9.00):

Marble Nine is three weeks between runs for Team Corstens since racing down the straight at Flemington when near the speed throughout and seemingly looked to be going well but didn’t find much when asked and just whacked to the line late behind The Black Cloud. Off prior efforts, he can take this out.
