Really good colt that resumes for the Nigel Blackiston camp. Had four runs during the Spring, all of which were pretty much on raw talent but he did win a Stakes race at start two, so no denying he is a Group l performer in waiting. Jump outs have been encouraging, McEvoy steers and draws to get a lovely run near the speed.
Randwick Race One Number 1 Kapour ($14):
I see some betting agencies have got this horse $11 and even single figures, so the $14 here should be snapped up immediately. He was really good I thought when resuming over the mile here when sitting off a crawl and he just lacked the turn of foot to pick up Religify. 2000m, upside, draws well, claim…ticks alot of boxes against an average lot.
Eagle Farm Race One Number 1 Cailebotte ($21):
This horse comes through the right form race when at this track/distance a fortnight back. Got a long way back in the run but I thought he closed off quite well late behind Morendi. Meets that horse better at the weights here and if he can sit a length or two closer in the run, I think he’ll run a bold race at a good price.
Morphettville Parks Race Two Number 6 House Of Wax ($9.00):
I had this marked down at around the $4.50-$5 mark, so $9 on offer looks outstanding shopping. He has been luckless at his past two, starting off in that infamous race involving Cartwright before racing last Saturday where he was badly held up when appearing to have plenty to offer. Looks the big overs to my eye and I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t start shorter.
