Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting.
Flemington Race Three Number 5 Hijack Hussy ($15):
She looks the wrong odds for mine, even though I am keen on Estaminet. This mare is a Stakes winner from Cup Week a couple of years back and her form lines include horses like Kuro and Worthy Cause. Now with Darren Weir and we know what Weir does with tried horses. Big, big watch.
Randwick Race Two Number 3 Tessera ($12):
Really surprised to see this horse at $12. I’ll concede his form isn’t as strong as the likes of Capitalist and stablemate Astern, but he is a real pro in the sense he jumps, relaxes and can do it at both ends of the race. Not sure he can win, but he looks outstanding value.
Doomben Race Four Number 1 Outraged ($5.00):
Sportsbet haven’t missed Kaiser Franz ($3.40), so I think Outraged looks the clear way to go in terms of a bet. He had the softer run and bloused them late, and does meet Kaiser Franz 2kg worse off, but he’ll do no work from the gate and is a proven stayer who has winning form. He should be favourite IMO, not Kaiser Franz.
Morphettville Race Five Number 11 Neopolitan ($12):
I personally like Moshki ($21-$26), but gee I can’t understand why Neopolitan is at double figures. Debuted a while back and ran second to subsequent Blue Diamond series performer Bullion Wolf, and pulled up shin sore. Has trialled well leading up, stable flying, draws well and Neilson rides. Should be half of $12…at least.
