Over The Odds 9/11/2024 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Rosehill Race One Number 1 Conrad ($9.50):

Conrad has to be an each way bet here. He ran in the Midway two weeks ago at Randwick…well, I say ran, but it was pretty much a barrier trial, getting badly held up behind tired horses when seemingly having plenty to offer. If the breaks go his way, he can take this out.

Rosehill Race Four Number 6 Hiawatha ($9.00):

Hiawatha is a real stayer that wants ground so 2400m here is ideal after resuming over 2000m at Kembla where he got back off the speed and took a while to wind into his work but was good late in the piece behind Kind Words. Fitter and up to 2400m, he only runs well.

Rosehill Race Six Number 7 Icarian Dream ($7.00):

Icarian Dream looks a filly of good promise for Ciaron Maher and confident she can measure up here after a debut win at Warwick Farm where she got off the speed and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. The rise to 1100m is fine and the stable are very good with their juveniles.

Flemington Race Five Number 10 Private Legacy ($11):

Private Legacy is the each way bet for me. Greg Hickman trained mare that was very good in defeat two back at Caulfield before going to the Tesio where she wasn’t suited by gate one and the tight track. Much better set up this time around and with room to move and wind up, she’s hard to beat.
