Pericles heads early odds for the Underwood Stakes

Pericles is the Ladbrokes.com.au all in favourite for the feature race at Caulfield this Saturday, the Underwood Stakes (1800m).

The James Cummings trained five year old was a dominant winner at The Valley last time and with his confidence up, he is being given the most respect by the market, sitting as a $3.00 favourite.

On the second line of betting is class mare Place Du Carrousel at $4.50, clear of Fawkner Park at $7.00, a point further back to Mr Brightside, who is doubtful.
