The Fred Kersley trained stayer Taxagano has been subject to heavy support to win the G2 Perth Cup at Ascot today with the early price of $10 with Ladbrokes now well and truly gone with the lightweight now at $5.00.

Taxagano who is coming off a narrow win in the G A Towton Cup has been the best backed runner in the race outside of the favourite Mississippi Delta who has been rock solid around the $2.80 mark.

Star Exhibit and Spiritual Warrior are the other two horses in single figures in what looks a very open race outside of the relatively short priced favourite.
