Promises Kept is the class runner of the field in the Summer Cup (2200m) this afternoon at Hobart and the Ladbrokes.com.au punters suggest he is the one to beat.

He was good in defeat last time at The Valley and looks primed for this afternoon. Opened $2.50 and has been well backed, now into $2.35.

Kaliuwaa Falls is at $4.80 on the second line of betting, with Tassie specialist Alhambra Lad at $7.50 and well tried after opening $12.
