Tellem We're Comin has been heavily backed to win the G1 Railway Stakes
Tellem We’re Comin, despite bringing somewhat inferior form to rivals, has been clearly the best backed runner with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the Group l Railway Stakes (1600m) this Saturday at Ascot.
The Team Williams trained gelding comes into this major off the back of a win in the Northam Cup, which didn’t look strong on paper but the form was ticked off last Saturday in the Ascot Cup via Taxagano. Brenton Avdulla takes the ride and is a joint equal favourite at $6.
Sitting at the top of the market as well is The Velvet King, who tumbles down to 53kg for this Saturday. The lightest weight he’s carried to date is 55kg as a three year this time last year when winning the Fairetha.
