In form stayer Barade is the favourite for the Gold Coast Cup
In form stayer Barade is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for one of the feature races at the Gold Coast this afternoon, the Gold Coast Cup (2400m).
Trainer Jack Bruce hasn’t been in Queensland too long but is building a nice team, headlined by Barade, who is a multiple city and will go into this Stakes race as favourite, sitting at $3.40, in from $4.40.
Southern Stock was beaten as a short priced favourite in a Class 3 last start but is being kept quite safe at $3.40 given his Winter Carnival form. Seat Of Power is on the third line of betting, and rock solid, at $4.80.
