Punters crunch one in the National Sprint at Canberra

Cavalier Charles is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for one of the key races at Canberra this afternoon, the National Sprint (1400m).

The Matty Dale trained gelding resumed at Randwick and did a really good job in defeat behind Much Much Better. $4.20 was the opening price for today and is now into $3.10, just holding the call.

Vreneli, the likely leader, is being kept quiet safe at $3.30, and they have a good hold on betting, with next best being Another One at $7, alongside the Chris Waller trained Saigon.
