Punters have rallied behind the Phillip Stokes-trained Way To Go Paula in the Desirable Stakes
Punters are looking for value when it comes to the second event at Flemington on Tuesday, the Desirable Stakes (1400m) for the three year old fillies.
Way To Go Paula had specking at a price when a first up maiden winner at Pakenham, hardly glowing form for a Stakes race during the Spring, but punters saw enough in it to take the early odds. Opened $23 and is now into $10.
With that move, the runners near the top of the market have eased, including favourite Joviality, out to $3.00 from $2.80. Twain’s Express opened $3.80 and is out to $4.40.
Sweet Reply is rock solid at around the $6.00 – $6.50 mark.
