Sportsbet.com.au took the risk with Piccadillies once again and they could potentially pay a hefty price as the Team Freedman unraced filly has been one of the best backed runners across Australia early on this Saturday at Moonee Valley in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m).
She is 50/50 on getting a start given she is second emergency, but the punters don’t care having backed her twice before in which she was scratched on both occasions. They thought the $10 opening price was juicy and they snapped it up immediately. She is now sitting at $5.50 and is the clear favourite.
That title was held by Athena Lass at $6.50 but she is now at $7.00 with the support for Piccadillies. Sebring Dream ($7-$7.50) has been slightly on the drift too while Selenia has had support at odds, into $21 from $26.
