Punters smash Boom first starter

Despite being unsighted, a Boom first starter has been the subject of solid each way money to take out the Aquis Farm Ladies Day Handicap (900m) this Saturday at the Gold Coast.

Boom Girl the Chris Meagher trained daughter of Spirit Of Boom hasn’t trialled publicly but clearly someone knows something because the $14 opening price was taken immediately. She has been crunched into $4.80 and is the best backed runner on the program.

The other with good interest is the Gary Moore trained Paquirri, who is the new favourite at $3.80 after opening $7. The son of I Am Invincible takes over from Mishani Phantom ($4.20-$5) and Awesome Mo ($4.80-$5.50), both of which have been easy, as has Katy’s Daughter ($4.60-$5.50).

Spirit Of Boom is the sire of the first two horses in Magic Millions Classic markets in the way of Jonker and Ef Troop.
