Southport Tycoon’s odds crunched to win the Australia Stakes

Southport Tycoon is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at The Valley tonight, the Australia Stakes (1200m).

The Ciaron Maher trained four year old resumes and with a class edge on his rivals, he is favourite, albeit easy. Opened $1.90 and is now at $2.20 with online betting agencies.

Schwarz is at $4.40 on the second line of betting but the big firmer has been track/distance specialist Apache Song, who is at $8, halving her opening price.
